February 24, 2014

Wow! What an amazing week it has been. I have so much to share. This week we worked so hard to bring to pass the baptism of four marvelous people! Eleonora, Mario and Rosi and Nirsa were baptized this Saturday. As you can see in one of the photos, were were EXHAUSTED! I, for one, was stressed out a bit running around making sure everything was in order. So many things ALMOST didn't work out, including us getting trapped in the bathroom while Eleonora was changing into her white clothes for the baptism. Really, we mostly just laughed at that one. But it is amazing to see how the Lord blesses and prepares the way to help people be baptized. He WANTS His children t to be baptized by the proper authority.

Everyone kept congratulating us, but we really don't feel like we deserve it. Sure, we worked hard and we're happy, but it really wasn't OUR work. Complete credit goes to the Lord.

With so many baptisms, we have hit a small obstacle. We almost don't have investigators! Haha, it's a small price to pay. We're so happy to be working in the mission to help people know of the restored gospel.

This week more than others, I have been able to be a witness to repentance. There is a sincere pain that comes when a person senses they have done something wrong and have a desire to change. The process hurts. There are consequences and things have to be mended, but the finished project is so much better. It has been a blessing to see this transformation but it has helped me gain a testimony that truly people can change through faith in Christ and relying on him. It has been wonderful.

I am almost out of time so just going to explain the photos.
